    Hi everyone,

I need a popular post widget on my website (around 10k daily pv). Tried other plugins, but they all have some performance issues and slow down my website. Sometimes even break my site because of heavy consumption of server & database resources.

Am looking to give Jetpack plugin a try since it has a “top posts & pages widget”. I heard Jetpack will offload the “related posts” processing to its own servers instead of the website to avoid impacting the site.

Does “top posts & pages widget” also store and retrieve the page view data on its own servers? so that the widget won’t negatively affect the website?

I can’t find related info elsewhere, so please shed some light on this?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi @withluv2020,

Thanks for reaching out, we’re happy you’re giving Jetpack a go!

All the heaving lifting related to our modules are performed and takes place on our remote servers, therefore there is no additional load happening on your site.

Give the widget a try and Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
