    Hi

I’m in the process of updating my website with a new theme. I’ve set up a static homepage in place of the previous blog page, which is working fine. However, I now want to have a menu tab for the blog but I can’t find a URL that points to all my blog entries. Can anyone help, please? The site is at https://www.philipraby.co.uk

    Cheers

    Phil

Thank you for your quick reply.

I’ve followed the instructions in the link and created a page called ‘Blog’ and set Post page to that page.

However, when I then go to the new page – https://www.findaporsche.com/blog/ I get ‘Page not found’, which seems odd.

Did you publish that Page? Or just create it?

Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks. If this works, then set a custom permalink structure back up again.

Thanks. That’s interesting, it does work on the default setting but not when I return to month and name.

Check with your hosts that mod_rewrite is running on your server.

What puzzles me is that every other page works ok, what is different about this one? Is it because I’ve set it as the post page in Reading?

    That shouldn’t be an issue.

I see that all pages are working fine so is not Mod_rewrite problem

Recheck if you created a Blog page without any content and published the page.
Click on Settings>>>>Readings and you have selected blog as post page in static pages

I’ve managed to resolve this by deleting the blog page and creating another one. No idea why, but it works fine now.

    Thanks for all the feedback.

    Cheers
