• This is a total newbie question, I’m sure. Nevertheless I need help. The situation is this: I have built a WordPress site with Page.ly, but without publishing. As I was about to do so, my current host told me they also host WordPress, and it’s a lot cheaper. So because of the money issue, I want to stay with my current host, but then I need to export my files.
I tried Tools>Export files – but then the files were saved in Illustrator, and just one page. That can’t be right? I have a Mac. How or where should they be saved?
    I would appreciate any help!
    Thanks.

“where” is wherever you save any download files.

“How” is … well that’s a fun one. They’re saved as .xml files, which you can open with anything you want. Your Mac is just defaulting to Illustrator. You can open-with TextWrangler or anything else ??
