• Hi. I’m trying to make a menu item that you can hover and that isn’t a link. Is there a value I can overwrite in the WordPress database?

I want to do this because on mobile devices you have to tap that link, but I don’t want to refresh the page by tapping and https://# opens a new blank tab in Chrome and in Safari.

    1. dashboard > menus
    2. Replace the regular MAIN menu-items by ‘Custom Links’
    3. URL: remove https:// from the inputfield!! and type #
    4. ‘label’ type a label-text e.g. ‘Products’
    5. click ‘add to menu ‘
    6. add the ‘regular’pages to the menu
    7. drag ‘n drop the sub-menu-items into place by dragging them slightly to the right
    8. save the result

Result: only the submenu-items will take you to that item when clicked.
