Where does the access key and secret keys are stored while installing the plugin

While Installing Amazon Web Service Plugin it will ask for access key and secret key for installing the plugin and there will be 2 option
1) Include your access key and secret key in wp-config.php
2) In the databaseSo My Question is where does it store the access key and secret key
