Don’t believe it’s a feature that’s been added to it.

Oops, guess I don’t recall the settings as much as I thought I would. I wasn’t around during its inception. I’ll look into it.

To “approve” them, you have to go into the gallery they were uploaded to and uncheck “exclude” on the individual images.

What I’d like to see is the gallery name (or ID) in the notification email. I’d hate to have to dig through multiple galleries trying to find the ones needing approval.

thanks for that colabsadmin. Hopefully that helps Anneka. Noted on the notification details part.

Sorry – editing my post. Un-checking “exclude from ..” in the Public Uploader settings DOES allow the image to post.

But I still get an email that an image needs to be approved.

aly22 I think that’s because there’s a delay in sending the email each one I have uploaded has always sent the email a couple of minutes later.

    Hello,

I’m using WordPress 3.6.0, NextGEN Gallery Voting 2.6.1, NextGEN Public Uploader 1.7.1.

Uploads Require Approval is uncheck. When user upload the picture it did not show the picture on the page right away. On the page I have to delete the code “[nggallery id=8]” and update the page, then add the code “[nggallery id=8]” again and update the page. Now the picture will show up.

How can I fix it without manually modify the picture page?

    Thank you!

aly22: I have the same issue with notification being sent even though approval is turned off. I posted a topic about it a few days ago.

jtran: Could it be a timing issue? If there is any processing that needs to be done with image (resizing, creating thumbnails) it could be that your not waiting long enough for it to show up. This is just a guess, but I had a similar issue.
