where do I upload a javascript file in the file heirarchy

  • I have a javascript email obfuscation script that I would like to include in posts on my clients site.
    I tried to insert the script into the post, but it did not appear on the site. there was blank space where the email should have been.

    I would like to make a call inside the post to the javascript, and then upload the script to the site.
    1. How do I create the call
    2. More important – where do I upload the script to?
