@daledubilowski – Under the auto open settings, there is both a cookie trigger( when the cookie is set such as on open, on close etc ), and a cookie timer( used to set the time before the cookie expires and the popup can open again ).

The cookie timer is set using plain English as in 1 week or 2 months 1 week 5 hours

    Hope this helps.

Admitedly I still don’t see where ‘Auto Open’ settings are but it could be related to the other error that I’m seeing. Once that’s resolved I’ll loop back and see if I’m still having issues locating these settings ??

@daledubilowski – Auto Open Settings is its own section when editing a particular popup.

The options don’t show until you check the enable checkbox.

It should show regardless of that other error.

Ahhhh I see – it’s right before my eyes!

I think my confusion is that this popup doesn’t auto-open by default, you have to turn it on (vs other plugins I’ve used where that was the behaviour).

I like this plugin – lots of great options. Thanks for the help!

@daledubilowski – I see your point, I will consider enabling it by default. The primary function has always been click 2 open since it was originally called Easy Modal. Auto Open was initially a paid extension, but I felt renaming it Popup Maker warranted including the Auto Open functionality.

Please take a moment to rate and review the plugin and or support.

I definitely wouldn’t change it – I think it works great as is – I just didn’t get it when I first looked at it ?? I think this is preferable to having it enabled by default.
