    Hi Wordfence people,

Where do I set the email address Wordfence sends notifications as?

I can find where you set the email address that receives alert notifications. Under “General Wordfence Options > Where to email alerts”. Which is documented here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/dashboard/options/#email-alert-preferences

But there seems to be no option for setting the address email is sent as. And no mention of it anywhere in your documentaion.

I had expected that it would be sent from the admin address of the WordPress site, but this is not the case.

From what I can tell, Wordfence seems to be deciding on the address of its own accord.
    Something like [email protected].

This is a pain if you run multiple WordPress sites, as you need to go whitelist all the different email address that Wordfence might send you email as.

If this is the standard behaviour and is not going to change (that there is a default not settable address), you need to add this to your documentation. If it is already in the documentation, it is not easy to find.

Also, if the address is not settable, can you explain why this design decision was made?

    Thank you.
