Where Do I Put upgrade.php?

Hello, I used Dreamhost’s 1click install to upgrade my wordpress to 2.6.1. after this was complete i received an email asking me to go to, https://www.mydomain.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php in order to update my database tables. when i click on this is asks me to download a .php file. what do i do with this?
I appreciate anyone’s help in this matter as I am very new at this…
