Where do I post [wpseo_breadcrumb] so silo pages show up in breadcrumb path

I want to add my silo page to my breadcrumb path so the breadcrumb path goes

Home to silo page, to category page to post page

But now it goes
Home to blog to category page to post page.

So I have 2 problems, getting rid of the blog listing and adding the silo page.

I check the documentation on the Yoast website for adding pages to breadcrumb path.

This Yoast page says

“Implement Breadcrumbs On Pages Using a ShortCode

Pages by default do not get a breadcrumb configuration setting as they do not have a taxonomy to display such as a tag or category. Some themes force taxonomies to appear on pages and if they have done so, you will have this option.

Taxonomy to Show section lacks a Page drop-down menu
Instead you can manually add the breadcrumb shortcode to individual posts or pages.

BUT Yoast’s documentation does not say WHERE I should add the [wpseo_breadcrumb] to the page.

Where do I post [wpseo_breadcrumb] so silo pages show up in the breadcrumb path?

I’ve tried posting it under the Yoast section at the bottom of the page under advanced, then under Breadcrumbs Title
Title to use for this page in breadcrumb paths

But that didn’t work.

So where should I post it
