Where did the edit menu go? Replaced with blocks

I really don’t understand why the control panel page and post edit menu was changed. You have to click on extra links just to find it!
What happened to the normal tabs Visual and Text? It seems someone decided to replace the entire edit screen with some kind of blocks.
How can I put it back the way it used to be?
If a plugin would cause this, I have not added any new plugins and everything worked before.
