• I have an unusual problem I haven’t seen yet. I have been using a theme for awhile now and everything works and looks great. I was going to go into the theme editor to ad something to the header and noticed my theme is no longer in the manage themes area. It also says my current theme is 2011 which it is not. I changed my db current theme to the correct one hoping this would help but didn’t. All the themes files are still in the server so nothing has really changed. Does anyone know how to get my theme back into my manage themes area?

  • I ran into a similar problem where no themes could be found. I fixed it by doing an automatic reinstall of WP from Admin->Dashboard->Updates->Re-install Now.

Don’t know why that worked, but it did.

Won’t that wipe out all the data I have put in?
I have a complete back up of my wp site but in doing so I probably have backed up the problem too. So if I do reinstall wp then restore from my back up the problem may still occur. I suppose I could try it though.

That didn’t work nor did it erase my data.

So that didn’t make the theme visible at Admin->Appearance->Themes?

Are there any error messages at the bottom of that page?

No. It still says the current theme is 2011, which it is not. No errors at all.

Does it show any other themes?

Can we have a link to your site?

It shows the framework site from which the theme I’m using, StoreBox, is a child of.

    My site is https://www.elitesilkplants.com

Another odd thing is that if I go to Appearance-> Widgets or Menu it’s the correct store box theme but if I go to the Appearance -> Editor it’s the 2011 theme.

I think it could be an issue with that theme. It doesn’t seem to be structured in a way that a standard WP theme is.

Esmi there wasn’t anything wrong with the theme for 6 months. And everything else in the theme is working properly except this.
