Where change language?

    Everything in this theme is in English. Even if I change one by one on the code does not work because later it comes back in English again… I dont know what should I do. My question is: is there a “button” where I can just set up another language or it is just in English?

  • Hi,

    First you need to change your website language from wp-config.php if is not changed. After that you should use a plugin like : Codestyle Localization to translate the theme.

    When I tried to translate the them using codestyling localization plugin, it did not work. The error notice is as follows:

    Error: The actual loaded translation content does not match the textdomain: zerif-lite
    Expect, that any text you translate will not occure as long as the textdomain is mismatching!
    This is a coding issue at the source files you try to translate, please contact the original Author and explain this mismatch.

    Thank you for reporting this issue. It seems that after our latest updates our theme isn’t translate-ready yet, but we’ll fix this as soon as possible.

    Hello tripareca,

    There were some strings missing, but I believe everything is working properly now.
    Anyway, this plugins allow adding new translations, if there are any words missing you can add them yourself. But I don’t think that is the case.

    Use WPML, Polylang or other translation plugin, they should work without any problems.

    WPML is deactivated OK
    Polylang 1.2.3 or later is activated KO
