Where can I upload the config.php?

    the wordpress Installation Routine advises me to upload the config.php-file. Where to?

    Do you mean wp-config.php?

    If so, then you need to open up wp-config-sample.php and enter your database details and then save the file as wp-config.php.

    Finally upload this file to the root installation folder.

    what do you mean with root Installation Folder? Where can I find such?

    Hi,

    The root folder is the home folder of your website. Depending on your setup this would most likely be an htdocs or public_html folder.
