Hi, the documentation on your website is several major versions out of date (nothing since November, including block functionality). Where can we find an updated version of the documentation?

  • Hey there,

    Thanks for reaching out ??

We’re currently working to update our documentation to include block support. If you are looking to override blocks, the same procedure is used as was in the past.

If you peek into src/views/blocks files, you’ll note the paths to override, here’s an example > [your-theme]/tribe/events/blocks/classic-event-details.php

    Take care,
    Ed ??

    Thanks for the reply.

Is it safe to assume the function docs will also get an update? TBH I always thought those were automated, but they also haven’t been synced since at least pre-Gutenberg.

And is there any (even super vague and non-binding) ETA for either?

(The template locations is just part of the puzzle, but it’s a good start. Since we’re on the nonprofit license, we need to wait for new documentation before even attempting to upgrade any TEC-related plugins… )

    Oh, I gotcha!

I can reach out to someone who should have a better idea.

I’ve made a note to stop back to this post and let you know my discoveries!

    Take care,
    Ed ??
