I am trying to set up my user submitted posts and have created a custom field for “Your Post URL”. It displays just fine on the website. The issue is that I cannot find the submitted information in WordPress. The User Submitted Post Info (found in the post editor in WordPress) only shows the submitter name, email, URL, and IP address.

Where does the custom field display in WordPress?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Glad to help. First thing: you can use the custom field for anything, but understand the plugin provides a regular “Your URL” field, which can be enabled in the plugin settings.

Then for your specific question: If you enable the custom field, it should display on the form. Then when the form is submitted, the custom field data will be attached to the submitted post as a custom field. You can toggle view the Custom Fields panel on any “Edit Post” screen to view the attached custom fields.

Lastly, to display the custom field on the frontend (on the post), you can enable the setting, “Auto-Display Custom Field”.

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can provide any further infos.

Thank you so much! It was the “view the Custom Fields panel on any “edit post” screen to view the attached custom field” that I was missing. Once I read that – I went searching and was able to find it and yes – it was all there.

    Much appreciation!

Thanks for asking and thanks for answering this question, exactly what I was looking for to be able to edit information sent with User Submitted Posts.
