Hi neotrope – Basically any theme in WordPress repository can be customized as a Real Estate theme. What could also help you is the Great Real Estate Plugin (no I am not an affiliate at all) which has “Widgets and custom page templates permit display of only available homes, only sold homes, a random featured home, and a detailed property page for a listing” per plugin explanation. In Therault’s plugin page, he offers some services for a fee but the plugin is free.

Mercime’s correct in that any theme can be customized to be geared toward real estate. Although they’re not free, Brian Gardner’s AgentPress and Agent Theme are very nice and Gorilla Themes have several very good ones as well.

the first few on the page are premium themes, but there are over a dozen free ones there as well. Seems the quality of many of the free themes tends to be lacking for the real estate niche.

Another plugin is RealShout for WordPress – https://www.realshout.com/ It uses GoogleBase for listing and search functionality and has custom widgets. It’s a great alternative for realtors who don’t want to deal with the expense of MLS. It should work fine with Agentpress or any other theme. I’m not affiliated with this company at all, btw – this plugin just saved a realtor client of mine a whole lot of time!
