where can I change the html code

  • I tried to install Google analytics.
    Entered a short code between <header> and <body> , like it was described ad the google site. ( on the wrong place)I can not delite it the code, It is not longer seen in the editor. After an upgrade of the theme the probleme is not solved.

    Now, the website is not available. The code is everywhere in the browser.

    Access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate so that you can access your site again.

    Then, edit your other theme and make sure the code is directly below <head> or directly above <body>.
