    Hi,
In my standaard “posts” I have a tab where I can fill in the TAGS
But when I create a CPT “Horeca” there is no place where I can give in the TAGS

What am I missing and how can I give in the TAGS for a CPT?

    Thanks,
    David Belgium

Just in case it’s the source, have you associated the WP core tags with your post type?

Second just in case, have you checked your screen options tab at the upper right if using classic editor, and the options panel if using Gutenberg?

    Thank you for the help,

But where can I “associate the WP core tags with the Post type,”

I can’t seem to find it.

    Thanks

That would be towards the end of the page when editing your post type with CPTUI. Go back in to edit it, and scroll to the bottom.

    Hi Michael,

    I can’t believe I looked over that?

    Thank you so much,

    Have a great day,

It can be a bit hidden in a way, so I won’t fault you or anyone else that sort of missed it. Doesn’t necessarily help that when creating or editing a taxonomy, the post type selection is right at the top.

However, its been my understanding that post types don’t require a taxonomy, but a taxonomy does require a post type. Because of that, we display post type selection more prominently.
