Thank you so much for this plugin, saves us all a lot of time.

the description says it supports the following:

    Supported Shortcodes
    CSS
Grid (container, row, columns, fully responsive)
    Lead body copy
    Emphasis classes
    Code
    Tables
    Buttons
    Images
    Responsive utilities
    Components
    Button Groups
    Button Dropdowns
    Navs
    Breadcrumbs
    Labels
    Badges
    Jumbotron
    Page Header
    Thumbnails
    Alerts
    Progress Bars
    Media Objects
    List Groups
    Panels
    Wells
    JavaScript
    Tabs
    Tooltip
    Popover
    Collapse (Accordion)
    Carousel
    Modal

I can’t find most of these in the tiny mce editor, I see the following:

    grid
    tabs
    collapse
    alerts
    wells
    buttons
    labels
    icons
    lead
    tooltip

is there a way to access the other shortcodes, or is there documentation how to manually use the other shortcodes?

    thank you.

This plugin actually doesn’t create TinyMCE buttons. Instead it creates a new button above the editor (next to the “Add Media” button) which pops up the plugin’s full documentation for all of its shortcodes along with handy examples of each. Do you see that button?

Do you have any other Bootstrap-related plugins installed that could be creating the TinyMCE buttons you’re seeing?

I’m actually using a bare bone Bootsrap 3 theme, but it doesn’t have any short codes, this is why I downloaded the plugin.

I’m running WP 3.9.1, and 3 plugins, (maintenance mode, Soil, bootstrap shortcodes), I don’t see the icon beside media, and the short code buttons in tinyMCE appeared after activating short codes plugin.

    here’s a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/QNMWh1R.png

    any idea?

    thanks.

I think you might be using a different plugin. This other plugin has TinyMCE buttons like the ones in your screenshot, but that’s not our plugin and I’m afraid we can’t offer support for it.

If you need the additional shortcodes mentioned in our plugin’s description, please give our plugin a try! You can find our plugin in the repository by searching “Bootstrap Shortcodes for WordPress”.

Be sure to remove the other plugin before activating ours, as the two will most likely conflict.

I can’t believe it, I did add the incorrect plugin, huge difference, but almost the exact same plugin name. It’s just so convenient to add a plugin through the admin panel, rather than download it, and upload it.

I really appreciate all your help, and this fantastic plugin.

    thanks.

My pleasure! I’m glad you like the plugin!
