Where are the image files stored?

    In cleaning up my database, I deleted the image files by mistake for all but the most recent posts. In what directory were the images stored in on my WordPress host server?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Richard,
    thanks for your message.

    If you mean the default folder it should be /wp-content/uploads/
    The backup folder for ShortPixel is this one /wp-content/uploads/ShortpixelBackups/

    Hi Alex,

    are the images that get optimized in the cloud saved in the cloud?
    Because that is an issue we would have to be DSGVO conform.
