Hi I am developing this site
    https://www.broometurfclub.com.au/turfclub/membership/
and want to develop a form for anyone to become a member of the club, not the website. Form is to link to PayPal and membership details to Mail Chimp with an opt in for Newsletter.
Do I develop the form myself and somehow link it to s2membership. I have watched the tutorials but they are all about becoming a member of the website and providing different levels of accessibility which I don’t need.

    Thanks

The free version uses buttons. If you want forms, you will need to upgrade to the Pro version.

But if you aren’t interested in having members of your website, then this really isn’t the best plugin for you. It sounds like you just need a forms plugin.

I have the Pro version. Wrote pre-sale questions about this topic of not having members for the website but rather a membership to the club using paypal and was advised this would be no problem. Also advised that it would link to Mail Chimp.

Have a license key, not sure where to stick it. There is virtually no documentation on how to set the above up. Site is still in development stage using a subfolder, so I dont want to set up Security Badge or even whether its necessary.

    Thanks for your help

I didn’t say it was a problem. It is just that it is probably overkill for what you want to do.

Really? There’s a whole KB article on it. See https://s2member.com/kb-article/integrating-mailchimp/

As for the license key, you need to insert that only when you are first told that there is an upgrade available. To start with, you just download the Pro zip file from s2Member and upload it to your site using FTP. Then you’re good to go (and won’t need to do that again for upgrades).

    Hi KTS915??

All my own fault. Got halfway through the download/upload and went to bed and didnt upload the second part of the equation, the S2 member pro.

Documentation I was looking for was how to set up a form and not having the full package was where I got lost.

    Thanks for your help ??
