• I had a little accident and had to reinstall wordpress. (I made a backup of my previous blog)
-Is there any way of uploading the old articles.
-Or if not, does any one know where the written articles are saved in order to preview them, copy and put in manually?

Ps, I had already tried to upload the backup into the server but there I encountered problems with my wp-admin and none of my articles anyways appeared. So I decided to reinstall and tried to put the specific folders one by one. But I’m a bit lost as I not able to find any php or other that might contain the articles… please if anyone could help, it might be that they where not properly copied into my backup, but I just would need to know where they are stored normally. Your information would be greatly appreciated.

You posts are kept in the wp_posts table, and the categories assigned to those posts are referenced in wp_post2cat.

You should be able to use something like phpMyAdmin to look at those tables.
