Where are the articles going to???

Do you have debug mode enabled in the plugin? If so, you should enable that so you can see the actual response from Apple News which is helpful in troubleshooting.

Also can you check the error logs on your web host to see if there was an issue with publishing? If your articles are stuck in pending status, there could have been a server issue that prevented them from being pushed to Apple News.

Where can I check a server issue and more importantly fix it? Why would the server not allow to publish to apple? when it allows everything else….

Unfortunately I can’t provide support for your hosting environment. You’ll need to reach out to your web host’s support team to see how you can access your PHP error logs and see if there is anything related to Apple News.

As to why other things work and this doesn’t, the Apple News API is complex and we’ve seen some issues with certain web hosts. However, without a more detailed error message to reference, I can’t really provide any insight.

This is the latest log and I was searching on it and it has some information about the Apple News plugin its just like Chinese for me ??

We’d be looking for an error log, not an access log. Also it would be better if you could just copy/paste the relevant lines into a message here rather than provide a file to download.

@ronpod – this error indicates your host has blocked the PHP methods (in this case, it’s file_get_contents() function) that the plugin requires to work. you’ll need to have your host enable that.

I concur. This is unfortunately on your host to address. Once they enable that method, everything should work fine.

1) I have received this message from my server admin:
We have enabled the ‘allow_url_fopen’ setting in your php.ini file. This should resolve the issue that you’ve experienced with the Apple News plugin. Also, the file_get_contents() function is working fine. I have uploaded a test script at https://thehollywoodconnecti.ipage.com/test/fg.php which is using the file_get_contents() function and is loading fine. Please check it from your end.

2) I tried to publish an Article with the 1.05 plugin and got this error message: THERE HAS BEEN AN ERROR WITH THE API. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR API SETTINGS ARE CORRECT AND TRY AGAIN: WRONG_SIGNATURE
