• I thought it might be stored in wp-content… so i moved that folder from my backed up version to the new one… and that used to restore all my posts

except then i upgraded, now when I move the wp-content folder with all my posts they still dont show up.. it shows up as a blank white page.

then i found out theyre stored in mysql database independent of the content folder… that makes me believe that theres some file within wp-content which points to the mysql or something, rather than posts being stored there

i want to restore all my old posts but moving wp content just doesnt work.. shows up white.

  • Your posts and comments are not stored in wp-content or any other folder. They’re as you said, stored in the database. Did you follow the upgrade instructions? If you did, all your posts should be there.

Long post short, the posts are stored in a database. You can’t find the posts in wp-content (unless you have some caching plugins, but that’s pretty irrelevant).

You know, you don’t have to start a new thread every time.

So to remove page title here https://www.alexvano.com/about

(i need to remove “about”) should i make custom page template and remove it from there?

How really this WP thing works? ?? I know how to use firebug and locate it with it. Next i know how to remove it within firebug and looks fine. But, lastly i can’t find where is this thing stored in template directory.

    Where is it? page.php?
