hi. im using your plugin and its great.
but since the last update i have problems.

    all the comments was erased…
i dont know why..the settings are the same, the aplication id its the same…

but thats not all..when you deactivate the plugin for a while, when you activate again you see that there are no comments.

also…the data base is growing up with more junk since last update cause is registering the enable disable like button and another things… that′s not cool at all.

hey, unfortunately, in March Facebook has changed the way comments are identified – now they are identified by the url of the page on which they reside, whereas before it was the domain plus the xid; basically because of this change it is not possible to keep comments posted before the change; version 2.0 changed the markup for the comments plugin to comply with the most recent changes (the old code will stop working in the next few weeks).

i’m not sure about the disappearance issue – it sounds like facebook cache or something like that but I’ll try to replicate and investigate

i’m not sure what you mean by the database growing with junk – this plugin doesn’t use the database, doesn’t store anything in it (apart from the plugin settings)

well actually when i check the postmeta column in my data base i find a lot of this:

    meta_key
    wordpress_connect_custom_fields_like_button_enable
    wordpress_connect_custom_fields_comments_position
    wordpress_connect_custom_fields_comments_enabled

but i have the settings for all posts by default.

so it will be cool that when you check Display comments box(es) on everywhere (i have it on every single post), and you know that you dont wan′t to change the Position Settings.
that it doesn′t write that custom field rows for each post. (almost 4 rows by post)

Ok, I see what you mean, I’m not sure why you don’t like that, a lot of plugins and even WordPress core adds quite a few meta data for each post, and if you posted 10 new posts every day, your database would get ~14600 entries in a year, which has 0 impact on the speed – but I’ll have a look and try to add an option to disable the custom meta data for individual posts.

    Thanks
