When will my site be active?

    I just started a blog with WordPress. I used iPage as the host and went thru their wizard to get set up (simple scripts). My url is https://www.petalposts.net. I created a post and can view the page thru my dashboard but I still can’t see my page when I type in just the website. I submitted a question about this on the iPage site. I’m not sure which of you is responsible for actually getting the site active.

  • must be something wrong with your local computer – the site comes up fine when clicking on the link you posted.

    Make sure your post visibility status is set to “public”.

    Only Admin can see the private and draft posts.

    There’s nothing wrong with your local computer, but you need to clear your browser’s cache. It’s likely due to your web browser storing a copy of your site previously. By clearing your web browsers cache your site should appear like it does for the rest of us.
