I’m on WordPress 4.6.1 and would love to use MailPoet, but am leery of doing so prior to it being tested with v4.6.1. When can we expect this to occur?

  • On my wp powered websites, MailPoet stopped working as soon as I updated to 4.6: i’m not able to use the editor. I can drag&drop stuff, but when I click save, then the changes disappear and i’m stuck with the default template. No conflicts in debug mode…

I know they are working hard on version 3 and speaking with their support manager he flat out told me that all previous versions are no longer actively maintained except fixing security vulnerabilities.

Something tells me that the current ‘live’ version will no longer be updated. Hopefully version 3 will be compatible with the latest WordPress version straight out of the gate once it’s release.

Or at least one would hope so….(and that’s coming from a PAYING customer)

It turns out that the editor wasn’t working for a change in modsec rules at hosting level: support turned off modsec and then I was able again to use MailPoet 2.7.5 with WP 4.6.x.

It seems like it’s working fine now!

Since upgrading to WP 4.6.x our newsletters are not sending (we are using the send when there is new content setting). If anyone else has a solution for this, we would greatly appreciate your input.

    Hi,

Please create separate threads for each issue. Its easier to answer.

Regarding the OP, MailPoet works with 4.6.1, we just didn’t update the readme file yet.
