When using the dynamic field for the user email field, I get the following error

For the same reason, I cannot use “Mail (2)” either :'(

I have the same issue.
I have created a dynamichidden field for obtaining the email address of the author of the post.
At the moment i have not yet written the code to get it, so it looks like this:
[dynamichidden email “[email protected]”]

However when i try to use [email] in the “to” field i get the same mailbox syntax error.
How do we make dynamichidden or dynamictext fields compatible with the mailbox syntax?

Same issue here. Trying to use the dynamichidden to trigger a Bcc in the mail field to blind copy an agent upon requests. Otherwise it’s working great! Thanks!

Invalid mailbox syntax is used.

Same issue here, I’ve had to temporarily resolve it with a javascript hack.

The error should be fixed by adding a required hash to the field like it does with the normal fields, but the extension fields don’t seem to validate the same way as the normal ones

I gave up waiting for a reply and wrote my own solution. No bloatware and I know it works and if/when dependencies change I can fix it.
