    Hi

If i set my server to use PHP 8, I cannot access woocommerce orders page. If i deactivate the Custom Order Status for WooCommerce plugin, I can access woocommerce orders. If your plugin is activated and i set server to use PHP 7 I can access wocommerce orders. So, it seems your plugin may have a compatibility issue with PHP8 under certain conditions.

The error I see when i try access woocomerce orders:

‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’

    This is the server error:

mod_fcgid: stderr: thrown in /var/www/vhosts/croyde-surf-hire.co.uk/httpdocs/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-posts-list-table.php on line 384, referer: https://www.croyde-surf-hire.co.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=shop_order&w3tc_note=flush_all

Can you help with this please?

    Matt

I use the plugin with PHP 8.1.27 and have no issues like that at all.

It must be a conflict with another plugin, which triggers when set server to php 8. I use a different custom status plugin for another woocommerce site and it works fine with php 8.

    Hi @sorceweb,

Yes, it could be a conflict issue. Can you please follow below steps to identify the conflicting plugin/theme so that will help us to find the root cause of the issue?

    1. Deactivate all the plugins except WooCommerce and the Custom Order Status plugin.
    2. Please check if the issue is fixed.
    3. If yes, then you can start activating the plugins one by one and see which plugin conflicts with our plugin.
    4. If not, then can you please switch to the default WordPress theme and see if it helps fix the issue?

Please let me know the result. If the above does not help, can I request you to create a ticket on our support tool with the screenshots of the setup of our plugin? So that we can try to replicate the issue at our end.

FIXED – a custom order status had the name ‘Paypal Vat 20%’, I removed the % so just ‘Paypal Vat 20’ and now working with server set to PHP 8.
