When using OR formatting it shows posts only from other categories

  • I’m using LCP on WordPress 3.9. I have a page and have added the following line of code:
    [catlist name=age-of-muskets,ancient-warfare,casual,commercial,fantasy,free,linux,mac,mobile,modern-warfare,multi-player,open-source,rts,science-fiction,single-player,tbs,web,windows,world-war-i-2,world-war-ii]
    This is all of my categories except two – news and uncategorized…but when I view the page the only posts that show are those I didn’t add.
    When I look at the documentation it says I can do multiple categories with:
    [catlist name=sega,nintendo]
    What am I missing?

    I figured out what the problem is, but I don’t have a solution. Some of my category names have dashes in them (e.g. age-of-muskets) which LCP appears to be parsing incorrectly. If I remove the category names with dashes in them from the list, it works (well, it shows the categories that still remain).

    I tried putting quotes around the categories with dashes, but that didn’t help.

    Any workarounds besides moving to category post ids?
