When updating plugin my site went into maintenance mode and stayed there

    The size of the plugin is not so small than by other.

    But why the server takes so long to download and extrakt it?

    Hi Daniel, it took half an hour to get out of maintenance mode but then I had problems with the plugin freezing operation when dealing with databases, either dumping or even optimizing, so I downgraded the plugin to some previous version I had in a backup and now it works fine.

    Really weird, I tried the solutions posted here that worked for others and they didnt work for me.
