When to "Delete Session"?

The cache stores information requested to Pinterest.
The plugin works like this :
– query Pinterest for informations (pins, boards, etc) and cache it
– once the cache is filled, use it to import Pins.

SO you can clean the cache once you’ve imported your pins.
It will not affect the pins already imported, but the cache needs to be filled again to recognize which boards have already been imported.

You can eventually try not caching ALL your boards at once but trying to cache only a few boards at a time.

I don’t cache ALL boards at once. But if the pins of the cached boards (for example the first 10 boards) are imported i add further boards (10) for caching. And with every new board the plugin gets slower ….

So, if i understood you right, i shall cache for example 10 boards, import the pins, DELETE the cache and start with another 10 boards. Right?

I have to remember which boards have been cached and imported already. Right?

If i import pin by mistake which are imported already the plugin recognizes this and doesn’t create duplicates. Right?

Yeah, that is something to try out. Should work.

Yes, “import” will only import pins that are not existing yet, while “update” will update the existing pin but keeps its ID.
