I’ve never heard of this error. Please provide steps to reproduce it.

    To reproduce it

    1. I just open any package.
    2. Then change some translation so the save button comes aivalable.
    3. Then I click on save. After some seconds the error message displays.

I get this issue since I moved wordpress from one hoster to a new one using the duplicator plugin. Maybe any setting of the new hoster is breaking it. I don’t have a clue.

These steps don’t constitute a reproducible error.

It sounds very much like your issue is caused by your migration, rather than by my plugin.

The only suggestion I have is to force Loco to rebuild its cache. You can disable caching by simply running WordPress with debug mode enabled. If that fixes the issue, just disable it again.

Unfortunately running wordpress in debug mode didn’t help. I also reinstalled the Loco plugin without any success.

If you click on save, I guess Loco is saving the po file and compiling it to get the mo file, right? Is there any limitation like Memory and CPU a hoster could have?

Memory, yes. But you get a fatal PHP error when memory is exhausted, not what you’ve reported here.

As I said, I’ve never heard of this error. Just because it displays when using my plugin doesn’t mean it’s thrown by my plugin. The Ajax process catches any exception thrown and displays it.

If you can establish that my plugin is throwing this error, let me know how I can reproduce it. Currently I have nothing to investigate.

    Hi

I have the same error message: “Error: Not Extended”. I got this message when I translate an untranslated string and after selecting “Save”.

Any workaround on that issue ?

I have no further information that will allow me to reproduce the issue. If I can’t reproduce it, I can’t advise on working around it.

Perhaps now there are two of you with this issue you can establish a common factor between you. e.g. both using same theme, installed same plugin, on same operating system, etc…

    Hi

Now I made the translation with a normal PO-editor and it was working fine. So I guess it’s a issue on the plugin side…..

I found out also that the error message is not the same when you delete in the wp-config.php the WP_LANG statement – but with / without the WP_LANG statement the SAVE functionality it’s not working…
