    The issue you want to fix is known to us; I expect you want to implement free trial subscriptions, correct? We have this already on our to-do list but have not yet implemented it. If you want you can check this out on GitHub where we track the progress: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/issues/267

    I see it was added to the development list for the 1.6.1 release, so it still will take some time but should be available soon.

    Hi @joostvandevijver thank you back. Why the ticket is “resolved” and who is arosoft?

    Nope, I didn’t tell about subscription. Whan I add a product with price zero on my cart (admin or not), I can see paypal button on checkout. This issue is only about Paypal, direct bank transfer works great.

    Such as I wonder, direct bank transfer payment gateway is hidden when cart total is Zero.

    good question, ah yes, I was working on another thread and must have copied his user ID from there when I realized I was replying in the wrong tread (but did not change the user ID).

    I marked the thread resolved because the issue is a known one and we are already working on the solution. So until it is released, there is nothing we can really do; no work is required until then.

    If you want we can mark it as unresolved, but the situation will remain the same. This thread will be updated once a workaround is available or a release contains the fix for this issue.

    Let me know if you want me to adjust the thread.

    Yes, the initial issue is caused by the fact that PayPal does not allow any purchases of 0. So that would also affect your situation.

    However, you might want to go for another option: to request a new feature that removes the payment option when the price is 0. If you want I can add that to our backlog. It will take however some time because currently, we are only focussing on fixing bugs that take precedence.

    I really appreciate your help. Of course, can you add this issue to your timeline?

    Meanwhile, I returned to previous plugin, wich will deprecate the next year. So… I`m not in a hurry.

    I have opened the feature request for this case and linked this thread to it. This will assure you get updated when it has been developed/released.

    Can you please give me the situation/setup where you need this for? I am thinking about it, but can’t think of a setting where this would be needed. Are you giving away free goods? I just want to add this to the ticket, so it makes more sense to develop it.

    Just to confirm: you want to have a checkbox in the plugin settings that says: Hide PayPal payment options when checkout fee is zero (or something similar), correct?
