When posting, page scrolls up automatically? Can we disable?

  • Hi guys,
    When I am typing a post or page, it always seems to scroll back to the top of the post.

    Does this have something to do with autosave?

    For example, I will be editing at the bottom of a post and I will stop to think for a second and snap, it goes back to the top of the post.

    Help would be much appreciated

  • Have you tried deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem?

    Yes I deactivated all the plugins but I still have the same problem

    was there any follow up on this? one of my users is having the same issue but i can’t replicate the issue.

    i find this really odd since this is only 1 user out of ~300 using the same code base.

    anybody? ideas?

    Got the same problem, had it in 2.8 and now have it in 2.9
