When Posting on other wordpress sites – how do i change link over username?

  • When I post comments on wordpress sites it shows my username and when you hover over it there is a link to a website of mine. I don’t want that website to show up. How do I get rid of it? I went to account settings and web address. Removed it, but still showing up. Thanks.

    When you post your comment, the WordPress site by default asks for the following:
    Name
    Email
    URL
    Comment

    Just don’t enter anything in the URL field as its not even required one, that way, your site won’t get linked to your comment.

    Where do you don’t want that website to show up?

    One more thing, are you sure you’re talking about the self hosted WordPress sites, and not the WordPress.com sites?
