When moving a site, there will briefly be 2 sites with the same domain?

  • I watched the video about moving a site but the domain of the new site is different from the original. I have a site I want to move. I gave the url of my site when I signed up with a new host. Now I should install WordPress to the site on my new host? That means there are 2 sites with the same domain but the new one isn’t active, right? Then I run the plugin in the new site and restore my backup. Then I change the DNS settings on the registrar’s site and the original site is no longer visible. Is this right?
