When Manual Rate entered, suddenly strike out price appears out of nowhere

Hello

When i add a manual rate for the new currency on the product price suddenly i am getting a striked out price (original) in grey and then the right price next to it

the problem is that the products dont have a sale price, only original prices
so from where does it get that info, i don’t know

and this only happens on the new currency, the main USD shows prices normally

and i noticed this happens only for variable products
