When logging into wp-admin, I get redirected and then 404 Error.

Hi there! I am having a problem with my WordPress blog. After making some adjustments the other day (mostly images uploads,and css stylesheet edits),I got locked out of the admin panel.

Now it redirects to a weird login site where I then enter my admin password, press enter and then 404 Not Found -The requested URL /wp-admin does not exist.

I used the information from another forum post in hopes the solution would work. I downloaded a fresh wordpress and copied the wp-admin files over my FTP to the blog, and still no change.

I need help. What do I do to get the “password required” box from popping up when my site is visited? And how do I get the wp-admin to work again?

I am not sure what I did in the first place to get these 404 errors. I was trying to be careful, and havent changed much. Your help is greatly appreciated.
