So on the page shown(via screenshot on the Reddit post that I linked), there’s the ” “Add Payment Method”. When I click that, it doesn’t do anything. This is my own website and I’m testing as a “customer”.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The oversized icons are a strong indicator that an exception is being thrown before the page is finished loading. You should navigate to the WooCommerce > Status > Logs page and check in the wc-failures log.

If an exception is being thrown that log will tell you where. It’s most likely another plugin.

Oh I see. So I checked the log but there wasn’t any error message or report. Also right now I’m using 2 plugins which are [Braintree For WooCommerce by Plugin Payments] and [WooCommerce by Automattic]. Can [Braintree For WooCommerce by Plugin Payments] replace [WooCommerce by Automattic] so that I completely delete [WooCommerce by Automattic] and still do all the customer purchase, checkout, PayPal payment only with [Braintree For WooCommerce by Plugin Payments] ? If that’s the case, I’ll delete the other plugin.

When I deleted every plugin except [Braintree For WooCommerce by Plugin Payments], it appeared that this plugin alone was not able to do cart, checkout, customer account registration etc etc. I couldn’t even find any shortcode similar to
[woocommerce_my_account] which is from WooCommerce by Automattic which makes me think that [Braintree For WooCommerce by Plugin Payments] is not a “stand-alone-do-everything” plugin but rather an add-on on top of [WooCommerce by Automattic]. Is this correct?

    Hi @wordpressuser14213,

The WooCommerce is your eCommerce plugin and you need that to sell products on your site. The Braintree plugin integrates with WooCommerce so at a minimum you need WooCommerce and Braintree for WooCommerce active on your site.

What I recommend is you deactivate all plugins but Braintree for WooCommerce and WooCommerce. Test and it should work. Then start activating your other plugins one by one and testing until you see the large icons again. You will then know if there is a plugin conflict.

Please share your website url as well so I can take a look.

    Kind Regards,

Someone else told me that if I use Braintree for WooCommerce, then I should have an account for Braintree and use Braintree money system instead of PayPal. I only have an account for PayPal and I intend to use PayPal for purchase transactions and in that case, I cannot use Braintree for WooCommerce right? Is it true?

To use Braintree you need to have a Braintree account.

If you only intend to use PayPal then just use a plugin that’s only for PayPal.
