• When I use the text editor and <center> text, it centers it but makes the font larger and bold. But when I use the WYSIWYG editor and use the center button, it turns out perfectly. I checked the stylesheet and don’t see any indication of why this is. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

One of these days I’ll remember that’s the first thing to do (like rebooting a computer) when something happens. But it’s such a pain in the ass that I just don’t think of it. Okay, off to do it now. Thanks for reminding me without making me feel like a dummy.

Okay, I’ve turned off every single plug-in and it still does the weird thing.

I’m ready to switch back to the default theme, but I have to ask: when I’m ready to switch it back, will everything go back to the way it is now? Will all the settings save?

So I did everything you suggested and it looks like it might be a theme issue. How can I go about fixing this?

start by posting the name of the theme –

if you have bought the theme, contact the theme’s developer or seller for support.

without a live link to your site, pointing to a post or page with the problem, nobody will be able to suggest any possible cause or solution.
