When I edit style.css it replaces contents with question marks!

  • I don’t have any idea why but when I edit style.css today (didn’t happen yesterday) it replaces everything with one long line of question marks (?????) when i save it.

    This is really frustrating. I am lucky i could go back and copy my style.css or everything would have been lost!

    I’ve searched but I couldn’t find this happening to anyone else.

    I’ve tried overwriting the file via ftp but it still does it!

    I remember this happened one other time to me but it resolved itself… it’s not going away this time.

    Any ideas??
