When I click on a Product on the Shop page it takes me to the wrong page

Hi everyone,
I just noticed that when I click on a product on a shop page I created (this page lists all the products in gallery view) when I click on one of the products on this page it takes me to the wrong page and this is happening when I click on all the products. Strangely though each time I click on one of the products even though it takes me to the wrong page when I look at the url at the top of the page its correct but the page isnt.
My initial shop page has a url like this: https://www.websitename.com/product-category/food-products the url it takes me to when i click on each product is something like this: https://www.websitename.com/product/bread but the page does not show the product despite the url being correct.
If anyone can help me with this and suggest how I can fix this that would be great.

Seems you’re experiencing a redirect issue. Do you have a redirect plugin installed?
Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
Hi Oyadeyi there are two Redirect plugins on the website but none of them have been activated. So I am not sure what is going on. I removed the website url for security reasons.

Please first try the following to see if that fixes the issue for you:
1) Update WordPress, theme and plugins if any of them are outdated.
2) Update & verify database. This can be done from WooCommerce > Status > Tools. I’d suggest making a backup before running those commands: https://woocommerce.com/document/backup-wordpress-content/

I am updated my theme, wordpress and all the plugins but the problem still persists. The url is definitely being redirected so I dont think its a conflict issue because none of the other pages are affected just this one page.
I am just not sure what or how the page is being redirected.

Thanks for getting back to us.
Please go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and just click on “Save changes” without actually making any changes. This will recreate the .htaccess file and hopefully will fix redirections.
If this doesn’t work, can you let us know if the same happens when you only have WooCommerce and the Storefront theme enabled?

I clicked on Save Changes as you suggested on the Permalinks page but the problem was still there.
I then installed and activated the Storefront theme as you suggested and the WooCommerce Plugin and I am pleased to say that the problem went away.
How do I fix this issue and use my original theme?

This indicates that some code in your theme was conflicting with that particular page, and that resulted into the unusual behavior.
I see that you are using a child theme, so you may want to get in touch with your developer to make the necessary modifications in the child theme.
