When i attempt to buy something, it adds the product twice.

Which version is this under?

it was happening with the previous woocommerce but i updated to the latest woocommerce this afternoon but it is still happening.

I think it happens because when you do this it passes add-to-cart to endpoints/referrer field etc, so when these other values get posted it adds the item again.

Does it do the same for your cart page?

Hi mike,

I changed it so it goes directly to the cart instead of going directly to checkout but the same thing still happens. When i add the product directly from the product page it works fine though

Actually just checked and its working for me. Ensure the URL contains trailing slashes etc to prevent extra redirects.

In my case I tried https://local.wordpress.dev/?page_id=15&add-to-cart=38 and it worked.

Not right; because when you go to that it changes to something else.

this was the original page – i.e. the subscription page

https://diagnosealley.com.au/mood-tonic-subscription/

and then when you click on the packages at the bottom, it adds the products. this is the url for one of the packages.

https://diagnosealley.com.au/shop/mood-tonic/checkout/?add-to-cart=3942

That changes to https://diagnosealley.com.au/checkout/?add-to-cart=3942

I get it now! i got rid of /shop/mood-tonic/ and it works now!
