When filter used, search results page not showing correctly

Hi there, I have a latest news page set up on a client’s site, with the avada theme. We are using the free version of the Search and Filter plugin. The page has the avada search at the top, with category/tag filters and date filters by the search and filter plugins below.

When the search bar is used, and there are no results the standard search results page we set up is shown correctly: https://www.bexhillcollege.ac.uk/?s=sausage&post_type%5B%5D=any&search_limit_to_post_titles=0&live_min_character=3&live_posts_per_page=30&live_search_display_featured_image=1&live_search_display_post_type=1&fs=1

However, when either of the search and filter filters are used, the search results page layout is not shown. When there are results available, the articles are shown but no styling like the page title: https://www.bexhillcollege.ac.uk/category/creative-arts/?tag=art When there are no resilts availble, the page is either blank: https://www.bexhillcollege.ac.uk/category/creative-arts/?tag=feminism
Or, when the date filter is used and there are no results, the page just displays html of the top bar links: https://www.bexhillcollege.ac.uk/?post_date=2023-11-13+2023-11-13
