    Dear Support Team,

I use your plugin for a week now and so far I am very happy with the abilities it offers me.

However, I now ran into a strange behaviour when editing some products: When I change the title of a Custom Tab, it disappears after publishing the changes. When I change back to the original tab title, it appears back again. Modification of the tab content is possible.

Also, when trying to add a new tab to an existing product it is not shown. Seems to me like the tab titles are set permanent as soon as a product is published and can not be edited afterwards.

Do you know how to solve this? Maybe it is a bug?

    Best, Kurt

  • Hi @kurtberlin,

That is very strange. Does updating the title work on any products, or is it broken across the board? Do you see any errors in either the Site Health status page or your site’s debug log?

Could you provide a link to one of the products where you have assigned a tab, but it doesn’t display on the frontend?

Let me know what you find,
    Jon

    Hi Jon,

thank you for your reply! Meanwhile I managed to find the solution: My product pages are created with Divi Builder, which places the tabs in a module called “Woo Tabs”. This module has an option where I can check boxes which tabs should be shown. When I rename a tab in your plugin, it gets a new checkbox which is by default unchecked and when I name it like before it gets the same entry back and “checks itself”.

That was the key to this strange behaviour and I hope it helps other people who run into the same issue.

    Best, Kurt

    Hi @kurtberlin,

Interesting! Thank you for sharing your solution.

    Thanks,
    Jon
