when do carts expire for logged in users?

When a visitor first adds a product to their cart a session is started that, by default, lasts for 48 hours. When it expires, the items added to the cart are forgotten, meaning the next time that visitor comes by, they’ll find their cart to be empty.

You’re talking about guests, right? What about logged-in users? It looks like their cart contents persist longer than 48 hours. Any way to control that?

I believe this is pertaining to both logged-in and guests users.

Thanks, I saw that earlier but I believe it doesn’t apply to logged in users. Pretty sure I’ve had cart items persist longer than 48 hours when logged in but I’ll give it a test and report back, thanks.
