• I understand that this might be an edge case but for whatever reason “constantcontact.com” website was down for over an hour this morning and it crippled my website due to this plugin. I use the widget in the footer but it was throwing the following error…

Fatal error: Call to a member function getBody() on a non-object in /var/www/vhosts/asa.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/constant-contact-api/vendor/constantcontact/constantcontact/src/Ctct/Services/BaseService.php on line 105

As a result the remainder of the page was not loading. Which includes a lot of scripts that control the behavior of the page (such as the menus, the slider, etc.) so effectively my website was crippled by this error. As of writing this ConstantContact was still offline so I have had to disable the plugin so that my users are not affected.

    Thanks in advance,
    Nik

    Hi Nik,
Sorry about that-you’re right this should fail gracefully. I’ll fix it in the next release.
